The Cumberland Comes Alive concert series welcomes Gina Powell and the Enablers to Bands on the Bricks on Friday evening June 24. The band will be performing at the Historic City Center Stage at the corner of Liberty & Baltimore Streets at 6:30 pm. The performance is free of charge, but seating is limited, so don’t forget your folding lawn chair.
Gina Powell & The Enablers is a rock and roll band originally from Cumberland, MD. Their sound has been described as “throwback,” and in addition to performing their own compositions, they feel quite at home exploring 60’s and 70’s pop. Gina’s solo debut album, Sincerely, was released a few years back, and a follow up with The Enablers is slated for release this fall.
In addition to Gina Powell, the band also includes twin brothers Gibb & Clint Cochrum (a.k.a. Red Clover Ghost) along with local musician and producer, Derek Shank
