Creative Dance workshop

“Come and learn about Creative Dance. This workshop will allow you to explore different styles of dance and learn the power of movement in fun and playful ways. One will be learning how to dance impromptu and use expressive ideas to dance and create dance.”
About our teacher–
Nicole Frost holds a Master of Arts in Performing Arts with a focus in Dance Education and Composition from The American University in Washington, D.C. She also obtains a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Dance & Theatre from Frostburg State University. Nicole works in the Instructional & Student Affairs Department at Allegany College along with being the dance team advisor. She is an avid performer, choreographer, educator and mentor. Nicole is a current Adjunct Faculty member in the Dance Department at FSU and instructs the 3-5 & 6-8 year old Creative Movement classes as well as the Adult class “Move it and Lose it,” through the Activities for Life Program. She has choreographed for the Front & Centre Stage annual Children’s Show, assisted with the FSU Cultural Event Series outreach program by educating others about dance. In her “spare time,” Nicole is a Senior Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics.
