April 9, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Did you ever use a Brownie? Remember being wowed by Polaroids? Have you used 35mm film?
Rare examples of these and other antique cameras and film will be on display at Allegany Museum, 3 Pershing St Cumberland, from April 9 thru May 8.
The opening celebration of the Allegany Museum season will include the opening of the Cameras: Then and Now exhibition on Saturday April 9, 5 to 7 pm, in the museum’s Grand Ballroom.
Ed DeWitt of the DeWitt Camera Centre, Dave Romero, owner of Vibrant Image photography, and the Frostburg Museum are providing the cameras which will provide a timeline of the development of photography. The exhibition is being mounted in conjunction with the Arts Council Photography Month.
Everyone is invited. Light refreshments will be served, and entrance is free.
