Downtown Cumberland Employee Familiarization Tour

The Downtown Development Commission will host a Downtown Cumberland Familiarization Tour on April 22, 2017 from 9 am – 1 pm.

A ‘FAM’ tour is a short tour to familiarize people who interact with tourists with the attractions of a particular area. The tours also promote the walkability of the downtown district.

The purpose of this tour is to acquaint downtown employees with firsthand knowledge of Cumberland’s attractions in an effort to provide higher quality customer service to visitors.

The Downtown Cumberland FAM Tour is specifically geared towards downtown employees who interact with visitors. This could be anyone in customer relations including: Downtown Restaurant Staff, Hotel Front Desk Representatives, Retail Staff, Guest Services Representatives, Etc..

This walking FAM tour takes approximately 4 hours and explores various attractions throughout Downtown Cumberland.

We encourage you to help us familiarize your employees by signing them up for this free tour! Space is limited.
