This Friday’s Cumberland Comes Alive! is scheduled to be one of the biggest summer events in downtown Cumberland with the 15th year for Hogs on the Mall, a popular Harley-Davidson motorcycle show.

Motorcycle enthusiasts will converge on the downtown mall from 5 to 10 p.m. Bikers will come from all over to display their pride and joy and to mingle with other bikers. Hogs on the Mall will feature hundreds of Harley-Davidsons, including some classics from around the Mid-Atlantic States.

Local rockers Butterscotch Blonde will take the stage at the corner of Liberty & Baltimore Streets at Historic City Center at 6:30 pm on Friday, August 19.

Butterscotch Blonde is the brainchild of music veterans Mark Gowans, Tom Fair and Mark Gauthier. This power trio will take you on a rock, funk, blues, and dance music-inspired journey through the soundtrack of our lives.

Hailing from the Cumberland, Maryland area, these guys have jammed with nearly every musician in the area — but never with each other. Their musical chemistry was undeniable as the first power chord echoed across the Western Maryland Mountains.

Cumberland Comes Alive is Western Maryland’s premier outdoor concert series. It is presented by Burgmeiers Hauling Inc. and is produced by the City of Cumberland’s Downtown Development Commission.

Bands on the Bricks concerts take place in the heart of Cumberland on the bricks of Baltimore Street in Historic City Center from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm every Friday until August. 26.
